Terms of Use
Argus Studio · effective October 11, 2026 (previous versions: October 10 and October 4, 2026)
1. About the service
Argus Studio is a private tool operated by Theophannes Abdon de Peixoto Santos (Theo Peixoto), an independent developer, to research topics and to plan, organize and publish videos on the operator's own channels — currently AGGATA DJ, Luz Narela and One Lamp Upstairs, plus the operator's own documentary channels in preparation. This website is informational; there is no sign-up, no third-party accounts and no commercial publishing offer.
Argus Studio may look up public YouTube channel and video information for editorial research, organize creation and rendering tasks on the operator's PC and server, store materials in chosen Google Drive folders, plan dates in a calendar, read statistics for the operator's own channels and, when authorization and configuration allow, read from or upload videos to the operator's own channels.
2. Authorization and control of actions
The operator grants permissions to Google APIs through OAuth. The available permissions may allow reading Drive and YouTube data, reading YouTube Analytics reports for the operator's own channels and uploading or updating YouTube content. The operator must review the account, channel, content and privacy settings before authorizing any publishing action.
The calendar is a planning tool. A planned date or time does not confirm that a video was uploaded, scheduled or published. Automations may depend on configuration or manual steps; these terms do not guarantee continuous availability or automatic execution.
3. Use of Google APIs
Use of the APIs is subject to the terms and policies of the respective providers, including the Google API Services User Data Policy, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
Argus Studio uses YouTube API Services. By using features that access YouTube, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and data handling also follows the Google Privacy Policy. Argus Studio must not be used to circumvent restrictions set by Google, YouTube or an account/channel, nor to scrape YouTube pages.
Public data about third-party channels obtained through the YouTube Data API is used only internally for editorial research, kept for no more than 30 days, and is never published, sold or shared. The operator's own metrics calculated from it are only used where permitted by YouTube's derived-metrics policies and are labeled as unofficial.
Data obtained through Google APIs is used only for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy and is not sold, used for advertising or sent to train foundation models.
4. Content and operator responsibility
The operator is responsible for holding the rights and authorizations needed for the files, music, images, videos, metadata and other materials processed or uploaded. The operator is also responsible for choosing the correct privacy status, publishing date and channel and for complying with the applicable community guidelines and monetization rules.
The title, description and privacy status of each video are set by the operator before upload. Channel descriptions and comments may contain affiliate links, always accompanied by a disclosure notice, according to the rules of each affiliate program and of YouTube.
The tool may experience downtime, API errors, quota limits or transfer delays. The operator should check the result in Google Drive or YouTube Studio when needed; an attempt started in Argus Studio does not by itself prove that the external service completed the action.
5. Website delivery and Cloudflare
The informational pages are published through Cloudflare Pages and served by the Cloudflare network. The zone configuration may add resources to the delivered HTML, including obfuscation of the contact address and the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon. The beacon may send technical performance metrics to the /cdn-cgi/rum endpoint; according to Cloudflare's documentation, it does not use cookies or browser storage. Processing of request metadata by the CDN is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and detailed in the Argus Studio Privacy Policy.
6. Access, privacy and deletion
Use and handling of data are described in the Privacy Policy. The account owner can revoke the Google authorization in Google Account Permissions and can request deletion of data held by the operator by email. Requests are handled manually, not by a published automated mechanism.
7. Availability and changes
Argus Studio is maintained for private use and may be changed, paused or discontinued without prior notice. The availability of Google and YouTube APIs, permissions and policies is outside the operator's control. These terms do not state that the service has been approved, audited or verified by those companies.
Relevant changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after an update means the operator accepts the revised terms. If the Portuguese and English versions differ, both describe the same rules; contact the operator for clarification.
